• Brief History

True Light Gospel Church (TLGC) began as a small fellowship of five young men and women, worshiping together in an apartment in Taipei County on January 6, 2008. TLGC has become a fast-growing, inclusive, apostolic church in northern Taiwan. From March 2008, the church moved into the city.Through consistent Sunday services, several evangelical outreach programs and regular passionate prayer meetings, three adults and two children received baptism in 2008, and the Sunday attendance reached 15 by the end of the year. in 2009, the church established cell groups and launched the “Two Wings Nurturing System” (discipleship development). By the end of 2009, church membership has reached 35, and 10 people received baptism. In July, 2010, the Sunday service attendence reached 50 people, and 5 people received baptism.

• Mission Statement: True Light Gospel Church is a Christian family, where everyone can know Jesus Christ, experience God’s love, and receive training from the Holy Spirit, thereby enabled to live an abundant life.

• Our vision: Located in northern Taiwan as a mission base, we are called to spread and fulfill the Gospel of God’s kingdom throughout the world. By nurturing believers and training disciples, we seek to enable individuals, cell groups, and churches to grow in a healthy way and to fulfill their calling. We seek to empower more workers to build apostolic churches in different cities, and fulfill the Great Commission. We are also called to be intercessor and light of the nations.
